invertebrates of madagascar

too often, visitors, at the exception of entomologists and specialists, easily tend to consider invertebrates and arthropods in general as “bugs” and forget to pay more attention to those groups of animals. one shall not forget though that there must well be over 100'000 species of invertebrates in madagascar, a number which overshadows any other group of living animals. every habitat in madagascar hides the most beautiful, colorful, bizarre and wonderful forms of invertebrates, from a stick-like insect to one of the world biggest moth, the moon moth, also known as a comet moth the male of which has a wingspan of almost 20 cm.

the world of invertebrates, a real world of wonders.
