bemaraha national park

bemaraha national park, a UNESCO world heritage site, is famous for its limestone karst formation ’tsingy’ intersected by decidious forests in the western half of the park.
the eastern half of bemaraha features mixed savanna, deciduous forests, and marshy habitats.
the manambolo river canyon which forms the southern boundary of the bemaraha national park is magnificent with cliffs tumbling from some 300 to 400m onto the river.

visitors of bemaraha national park can look for decken’s sifaka, red fronted brown lemurs and the critically endangered madagascar fish eagle.
