Emerald Sea, Stone Forest & Lemurs

Our classic tour of the North dubbed “Emerald Sea, Stone Forest & Lemurs features the three bays, la Mer d’Emeraude - Emerald Sea, Montagne des Français, Montagne d’Ambre national park, Tsingy Rouge, Andrafiamena-Andavakoera, Ankarana national park, Ambanja and Ankify.

We typically recommend the tour to be carried out in a minimum of six (06) days to get some sort of acquaintance to the aforementioned iconic places and sites in the north tip of the island of Madagascar. Anybody with more extended interest in wildlife and nature is advised to dedicate more time to the journey.

® Most, not to say the entirety, of the road to be travelled on being in bad to very bad state, therefore “bumpy,” 4WD vehicles are needed for the transfers.

Alternatively, the tour could be combined with some days to explore the island of Nosy Be and its satellite islets while who has limited time at hand would fly off Madagascar shortly after the end of the tour.
